Kalyan PG College ismanaged by the Chhattisgarh Kalyan Samiti, a registered body founded in 1961.Initially the college was affiliated to Sagar University, Sagar (MP). Later onit was affiliated to Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur till 2015. Atpresent the institution is affiliated to Hemchand Yadav University Durg (CG).The College was autonomous till 1989. The college was accredited in 2018in third cycle by NAAC securing B Grade with (CGPA 2.31)
